Not to be used in conjunction with any other offers or promotions, any treatments offered by independent practitioners or permanent cosmetics.
Discount can only be authorised and applied to your bill by a member of A.R.T staff.
Discount cannot be used on any course bookings or spa day packages.
For single treatment use only.
If treatments are combined, discount will be taken off of the lesser value service.
Not to be used on retail purchases.
Only one guest pass can be redeemed per person, per treatment.

Discount Voucher

If using a A.R.T discount voucher only one will be accepted per customer, per booking. These discount vouchers will only be redeemable on the treatment(s)/product(s) listed on the front of the voucher. The discount vouchers are open to any resident of the UK aged 16 years or over only. Photocopies or defaced A.R.T vouchers are not valid. The promotional code will be valid for the length of the voucher which will be clearly stated on the front. The voucher may not be used in conjunction with any other voucher offer, promotion or special offer.

All Discount Voucher beauty treatments must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. Seasonal or other date restrictions may apply. Peak times may be excluded and would ask that you contact the salon in order to ascertain treatment/product availability.

Unless otherwise stated discounts will not be offered on permanent cosmetics or treatments carried out by independant practitioners.

Cancellation of a booked treatment with less than 48 hours notice will be liable to cancellation charges as per the salon’s standard terms.

Participation in any Discount Voucher treatment/product implies acceptance of the Terms and Conditions as set out within this website, on the voucher, on any associated promotional literature.

You may be required to complete a medical questionnaire form. Some treatments may require a certain level of fitness or have adverse effects for certain medical conditions. If you are suffering from any medical condition or injury, please consult your doctor and advise the therapist prior to treatment.

A.R.T reserves the right to change the details of any special offer, promotion or sale without notice. Details of any such changes can be obtained from our website or by contacting reception on 01277 633 907.

The images and descriptions used within the promotional literature and/or websites may not accurately reflect the treatment or product offered.

No cash alternatives will be offered or discounts on other products if items are sold out or unavailable.

Gift Voucher

An A.R.T gift voucher will only be redeemable on the treatment(s)/product(s) listed on the front of the voucher or the amount stated in sterling. Photocopies or defaced A.R.T gift vouchers are not valid. They are valid for six months from the date written on the voucher by a A.R.T member of staff.

Cancellation of a booked treatment with less than 48 hours notice will be liable to cancellation charges as per the salon’s standard terms and thus this will be deducted from the voucher amount. If the cancellation charges are more than the voucher, then the voucher will become void.

No cash alternatives will be offered on gift vouchers.

Special Offers & Promotions

The Membership

A.R.T is a proprietary business, the proprietor being Emalene Grove of White Post Farm, Laindon Common Road, Little Burstead, Billericay, Essex CM12 9SY.

2. The Proprietor
The proprietor shall through its duly authorised representatives manage and operate the salon and deal with all matters in connection with it.

3. Acceptance
a. The decision to accept this application shall be at the absolute discretion of The Proprietor. If it is accepted by The Proprietor, membership of the A.R.T by the applicant shall commence upon the date of acceptance. Upon acceptance The Member shall be issued with a membership card (which shall remain the property of The Proprietor) personal to him/her and shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges exercisable by the class of members for which his/her application for Membership has been accepted.

b. Acceptance by The Proprietor of an application for Membership of the club shall constitute a binding contractual arrangement between The Proprietor and the applicant upon these Terms and Conditions of Membership and the Rules and Regulations of the salon.

c. All new members will be entitled to a cooling off period, whereby should the member decide not to proceed with membership, if this is notified to The Proprietor in writing within 7 days of signing this contract then the contract will become null and void, and all membership payments made by said Member to The Proprietor will be repayable in full.

4. Limitation of Liability
a. In consideration for The Proprietor accepting his/her application for Membership of ART of Beauty Ltd and for he/she becoming and remaining a member of A.R.T , the member agrees that:

b. Neither The Proprietor, nor its employees or agents shall be liable for any loss, damage or theft of any property belonging to, or brought onto the salon premises by the Member of any guest of the member, occurring upon the salon premises.

c. Neither the Proprietor, nor its employees or agents shall be responsible for any death, personal injury or illness occurring upon the salon premises or as a result of the use of the facility and/or equipment provided by the salon, except to the extent that such death, personal injury or illness arises from any negligent act or omission of the Proprietor or its agent or employee.

5. Physical Condition of Member
a. The member warrants and represents that he/she is in good physical condition and that he/she knows of no medical or other reason why he or she is not capable of engaging in any of the services available within the membership and that such treatment would not be detrimental to his/her health, safety, comfort of physical condition.

b. The member shall not use the salon facilities whilst suffering from any infectious or contagious illness, disease or other ailment or whilst suffering from any physical ailment such as open cuts, abrasions, open sores or minor infections where there is a risk that such use may be detrimental to the health, safety, comfort or physical condition of the other members and A.R.T Staff.

6. Assignment
a. Non-refundable & Non-transferable Your membership card applies to you and you cannot loan or transfer it to another person. .

b. Membership of the salon is personal to the member and may not be assigned, transferred or otherwise disposed of.

c. The member may not loan his/her membership card or permit it to be used by anyone but the member.

d. The Proprietor may assign the benefit of this agreement to a third party at any time without notice to the member.

7. Membership
a. Membership shall be divided into five categories: Gold, Silver, Bronze, Especially for Him and VIP.

b. All categories of membership shall be subjected to these Terms and Conditions and the Rules and Regulations of the salon that are from time to time in force.

c. All members shall be at least 16 years of age.

d. Other membership shall be on such terms as the Proprietor may specify from time to time.

8. Joining Fee and Membership Fees
a. All members shall pay a fee in the sum specified overleaf upon becoming a member of the salon which shall become due immediately upon the member being accepted as a member.

b. The Proprietor reserves the right in increase the membership annually. The Proprietor shall give the member not less than 30 days written notice of any such increase. The Proprietor reserves the right to increase or decrease yearly membership in accordance with changes in United Kingdom legislation regarding taxation and duties as defined by the government i.e.: valued added tax. The Proprietor shall give the member not less than 30 days written notice of any such increase.

c. Once you begin your treatments at A.R.T the membership is none refundable or transferable.

d. you will be bound to pay your annual membership in full before any treatments or service included in the membership commence. This will be non refundable or transferable.

9. Expulsion of Members and Termination of Membership
a. The Proprietor may terminate the membership of any Member.

i. Without notice and with immediate effect, if the members conduct, whether or not such conduct is the subject of complaint by another Member or Members, is such that in that reasonable opinion of the Proprietor, it may be injurious to the character or interest of the club, or is such that it renders the Member unfit to associate with other members of the salon.

ii. without notice and with immediate effect, if the member shall have committed any material or persistent breach of these Terms and Conditions or of the Rules and Regulations of the salon.

iii. Upon not less than 30 days notice in writing if the Proprietor is of the opinion that the member is not a suitable individual for continued Membership of the salon. All decisions of the Proprietor under the clause are final and binding.

b. A member whose membership is terminated shall forfeit all the privileges of Membership with immediate effect without claim for any refund or his/her joining fee or membership fees and will remain liable for any part of the fee which remain due for the remaining months of the initial period owing to the proprietor at the date of termination of membership.

c. On termination of his/her membership, the member shall return forthwith his/her membership card and any other evidence of membership provided to that member by the salon.

d. In the event of the death of a member during currency of his/her membership of the salon, the obligation to the yearly membership fees shall cease without claim of refund with effect from the date of death.

10. Salon Facilities
a. Certain classes of membership do not include all of the clubs services and facilities, services and facilities not so included may be provided at an additional charge at the proprietors discretion.

b. The proprietor reserves the right to make reasonable alterations to the types of facilities provided without notice at its absolute discretion and the Proprietor shall not be liable for any loss occasioned by such alterations.

c. Unlimited treatments are subject to availability

d. Treatments will only be carried out within the safe guidelines of practice, and not if the proprietor sees that the client is not medically fit for treatment.

11. Hours of Opening
The salon normal hours of operation and the hours in which any facility within the salon are available to members are obtainable from the proprietor upon request. Such hours may be lengthened or shortened at the absolute discretion of the proprietor, with our without any prior notice to members being given. The proprietor shall endeavour to give reasonable notice of any lengthening or shortening of such hours. The proprietor reserves the right to verity, or requires proof of all information given in order to obtain membership and any fraudulent or wrongful information given in order to obtain such membership could result in the cancellation of all membership rights and /or the reimbursement of all monies due to the proprietor.

12. Cancellation charge
If appointments are cancelled within 48 hours our cancellation policy will be enforced and you will be liable to pay for 50% of the treatments booked. This has to be enforced out of respect for other clients and appointment availability.

13. General
a. The Proprietor has a legal obligation under the Data Protection Act to ensure that all information held and processed about you complies with the principles of the Act. The Act requires all personal information to be treated in the strictest confidence and to be used only for purposes of which you are aware.

b. The Proprietor reserves the right to make alterations to this contract where reasonable. Any changes will be notified in writing.

c. Although we endeavour to ensure the accuracy of the information; A.R.T does not make any warranties, express or implied, in relation to its accuracy.

d. A.R.T cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions and reserve the right to vary, amend or cancel any of the information at any time, should we find such alterations necessary.

e. A.R.T reserves the right to vary or amend these terms & conditions at any time.

9. Our Contract
When you place an order to purchase a product from A.R.T, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we dispatch that product to you and is confirmed by an email we send to you confirming that we have dispatched (the ‘Dispatch Confirmation E-mail’). That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the Dispatch Confirmation Email to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a Dispatch Confirmation Email to have been dispatched do not form part of that contract. You are seeking to enter into a contract with A.R.T when you place an order.

10. Returns
Please review our Returns Policy which applies to products purchased from us. In addition to your returns guarantee, customers in the European Union are entitled to a statutory cooling-off period of seven business days. 11. Pricing and availability
We list availability information for products sold by us on the website, including on each product information page.
